Winter can be a challenging season for thousands of children studying in government schools across India. At Suma Blessings Foundation, we believe that warmth is a basic right, and no child’s education should suffer simply because they cannot afford proper winter clothing.
This belief stands at the heart of our ongoing winter donation campaign “A Sweater Today, A Smile Tomorrow.” Through this initiative, we aim to provide warm sweaters to 5,000 children from low-income families studying in government schools.
Recently, under the #Vidyanjali initiative, our team distributed warm sweaters to 130 bright girl students at Government Girls Secondary School, Dichao Kalan, Najafgarh, New Delhi. The experience was a touching reminder of how small acts of kindness can create lasting impact.
The moment we arrived at the school, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. The joy on the girls’ faces as they received their new sweaters was truly heartwarming. What seemed like a simple item of clothing quickly transformed into something much deeper — a gesture of care, dignity, and encouragement.
