Suma Aarogya Raah is a health initiative by Suma Blessings Foundation, created to bridge the healthcare access gap in underserved urban and peri-urban communities.
It focuses on delivering preventive care, early diagnosis, and health awareness to vulnerable families, particularly women, children, and daily wage earners, through a grassroots-driven, health and awareness camp model.
The program aspires to create healthier communities by empowering individuals with knowledge, screenings, services, and sustainable health practices.

The program organizes free community health camps providing consultations and screenings in general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, eye care, and dental services. These camps act as entry points into healthcare for families who otherwise lack access or affordability, with follow-up support and referrals facilitated as required.
Suma Aarogya Raah includes regular health screenings for children and adults. Key assessments include BMI checks, hemoglobin tests, vision and dental evaluations, and child growth monitoring. School-based screenings ensure early detection of conditions that can affect learning and development.
These workshops are designed to educate women and adolescent girls on crucial aspects of their physical and reproductive health. Sessions cover topics such as menstrual hygiene, nutrition, maternal care, mental well-being, and prevention of common infections and breast cancer. Conducted in safe, community-friendly spaces, the workshops aim to break taboos, encourage open dialogue, and promote health-seeking behavior among women from underserved backgrounds.
Through interactive sessions in schools, community centers, and slum clusters, participants, especially women and children, are educated on topics such as personal hygiene, handwashing, safe drinking water, waste management, menstrual hygiene, and prevention of common illnesses. These sessions are led by trained facilitators and local volunteers to ensure cultural relevance and practical understanding. By encouraging behavior change and instilling daily hygiene routines, the initiative aims to reduce the incidence of preventable diseases and improve overall community well-being.
