Janmashtami is a festival dedicated to children, as it marks the birth of the mischievous yet beloved figure, Krishna. The essence of Krishna's spirit is believed to be present in every child, manifesting in their playfulness and joyful expressions. To bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged children, the SBF team of volunteers planned to spend quality time with the special kids at Suma Vidyalaya center.
On this auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, we organized a special lunch party for the special kids. The children were filled with enthusiasm and had a wonderful time. We also had a great time ourselves! After lunch, we distributed chocolates to the kids. This was our way of celebrating Lord Krishna's birth anniversary.
We make it a point to celebrate all festivals and other important days with the children at Suma Vidyalaya, aiming to provide them with a homely feel and, most importantly, to bring smiles to their faces.
