What is the objective of the Silai Se Samriddhi project?
The project aims to empower underprivileged women by providing them with sewing and tailoring skills to enhance their livelihood opportunities and become financially independent.
Any woman aged 18 years and above from marginalized or economically weaker communities who wishes to learn tailoring and start her own small business can join.
The complete training program runs for 6 months, including both theoretical and practical sessions.
No, the program is free of cost for eligible beneficiaries. All training materials and resources are provided by the foundation.
The training is held at the Suma Blessings Foundation’s Sewing Training Center, equipped with sewing machines and other necessary tools.
Participants will learn cutting, stitching, embroidery, pattern making, fabric measurement, and basic business management skills to start their own tailoring unit.
Yes, all participants who successfully complete the training receive a Certificate of Completion from Suma Blessings Foundation.
Yes, the foundation provides linkages for employment, guidance for self-employment, and support to form women’s self-help groups (SHGs).
You can support by donating sewing machines, training materials, or funds to help train more women under this project.
