Background

In a rapidly digitizing world, access to digital skills is no longer optional, it is essential for inclusion, opportunity, and upward mobility. Unfortunately, large sections of India’s marginalized populations remain excluded from the digital economy due to lack of access, skills, and resources. This digital divide not only limits education and employment opportunities but also deepens existing social and economic inequalities.
Recognizing this urgent need, Suma Blessings Foundation is launching a Pilot Digital Empowerment Program in Dwarka Sector 16, aimed at equipping underserved youth and adolescents with foundational and job-relevant digital skills.

Program Objectives

Bridge the digital divide for marginalized sections of society.
Provide foundational digital literacy for adolescents and young adults.
Impart job-oriented digital training to enhance employability.
Enable long-term social and economic mobility through technology.

Course Structure

The program consists of two structured digital courses, tailored to specific age groups and skill requirements:

1. Digital Productivity Course (45 Days)
- Target Age Group: 12+ years
- Focus:
  Basic computer operations
  MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  Internet safety and responsible usage
  Email, search engines, file management
  Introduction to online learning platforms
- Outcome: Confidence in using digital tools for education and everyday tasks.
2. Job-Oriented Digital Skills Course (90 Days)
- Target Age Group: 18–35 years
- Focus:
  Intermediate computer literacy
  Resume and email writing
  Basic graphic design and data entry
  Introduction to digital marketing and freelancing
  Soft skills, interview prep, and job readiness
- Outcome: Participants will be equipped with skills required for entry-level digital and
  administrative jobs.
