Children attending Suma Vidyalaya come from economically challenged households where access to nutritious, home-cooked meals is uncertain or irregular. Many arrive at school without having eaten properly, affecting their focus, participation, and physical development. The absence of a dedicated kitchen restricts the school’s ability to ensure food quality, hygiene, and consistency. As the number of children grows, reliance on external or makeshift food arrangements is proving unsustainable. A centralized kitchen is crucial to address hunger, improve learning readiness, and uphold the dignity and health of every child.
